On December 21, 2015, space exploration history was made. SpaceX’s Falcon 9 pulled off one of the world’s first successful missions to land part of an orbital rocket back to Earth. The development heralded a new epoch of space travel where rockets can be reused, much to the delight of space agencies' bank balances.
There have been a few videos floating around of the spacecraft’s mission, but now SpaceX has released a 3.5 minute montage edit of Falcon 9’s story, complete with a goosebump-inducing "Falcon has landed” moment.
